Wendy Ahn

Wendy Ahn

Wendy Ahn is a media executive with more than 20 years of experience in sales operations and advertising systems across national broadcast and cable television organizations. Ahn served for more than a decade at NBCUniversal, holding senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Sales Management Solutions. In these roles, she oversaw sales operations platforms supporting national advertising sales across multiple networks, including the implementation and management of Salesforce CRM, analytics and business intelligence tools, and cross-network selling systems utilized by sales teams throughout the organization. Prior to her tenure at NBCUniversal, Ahn began her career at Fox Sports Net in traffic and sales operations and served as a Project Manager and Consultant at Fox Cable Networks, supporting sales and operational systems initiatives. She held consulting and technical leadership roles at Sony Domestic Television Distribution and E! Entertainment and Style Networks, focusing on technology systems that support media sales operations, and joined Comcast Programming Group/Network Sales as Director of Sales Administration, advancing to Vice President. She continued at Comcast Network Sales as Vice President of CNS Ad Sales Systems and Operations, with responsibility for advertising sales infrastructure and operational systems across cable networks. Ahn currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Effective Media Services (GRiP-it!) and is based in the New York metropolitan area.

In 2012, Jamie won the Special Jury Award at SXSW for her performance in film EDEN, based on a true story about a young Korean girl who was abducted and forced into sex trafficking and years later miraculously saves herself. The film also won the Narrative Audience Award. Chung returned to SXSW in in 2018 in the AIDS drama "1985" based on Yen Tan's short of the same name.

In television, Jamie has received praise for her role as "Ji-Ah" in HBO's LOVECRAFT COUNTRY, which was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

In film, Jamie is known for her role in THE HANGOVER 2 & 3 hit comedy films for Warner Bros, Zack Snyder's SUCKERPUNCH with Oscar Isaac, Frank Miller/Robert Rodriguez's SIN CITY 2, and Oscar-winning animated film BIG HERO 6.

Most recently, Jamie was seen in Showtime's revival of DEXTER: NEW BLOOD. She will next be seen in Spyglass feature film REUNION opposite Jillian Bell, Lil Rel Howery, and Billy Magnussen, and in HBO's upcoming new season of SUCCESSION.

Growing up in both Seoul, Korea and Plano, Texas, Olivia majored in film at Boston University and found her first job as an assistant to the partners at 3 Arts in Beverly Hills. Now managing clients from the NYC offices, Olivia represents artists primarily in the comedy space such as Bowen Yang, Julio Torres, Jaboukie Young-White, and more. Her credits include executive producing Comedy Central’s The President Show, HBO’s Julio Torres: My Favorite Shapes and Whitmer Thomas: The Golden One, and she was recently featured as The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen 2019: Hollywood’s 35 Rising Executives 35 and Under.

Howard Han is a co-founder of Anagram Capital, an investment firm based in NY and Chicago. Howard has entrepreneurial and investment experience across media & entertainment, technology, software, and fintech.

Previously, Howard was a Partner in the Merchant Banking division at LionTree. LionTree is a differentiated global investment and merchant banking firm for companies in the creative digital economy. Founded in 2012, LionTree works across offices in New York, San Francisco, London and Paris to serve clients on transactions around the globe.

Previously, he was a Partner at Thayer Street Partners, a private investment firm based in New York, where he focused on sourcing, analyzing, and managing opportunities in the digital media, enterprise/SMB software and technology-enabled business service sectors. Select investments at Thayer Street include SESAC, ShopKeep, Transfix, Justworks, and ClickPay.

Prior to Thayer Street, Mr. Han was the Founder/CEO of GigMaven, an early-stage technology company that was acquired by ReverbNation in 2013. After the sale, Mr. Han served as a Vice President and General Manager of a business unit and oversaw the company’s sales force at ReverbNation. Previously, he was at UBS Investment Bank’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications group focused on M&A advisory and capital raises within digital media and technology. Mr. Han graduated from Yale University with a degree in Political Science.

Howard lives in New York City with his wife and two young boys.

Soo Hugh serves as showrunner, executive producer, writer and visionary behind upcoming drama series PACHINKO for Apple TV+, based on the international best-selling novel of the same name. The show will premiere on the streaming service in 2022.
The series chronicles the hopes and dreams of four generations of a Korean immigrant family. Epic in scope, intimate in tone, the story begins with a forbidden love and crescendos into a sweeping saga that journeys between Korea, Japan and America to tell the unforgettable story of war and peace, love and loss, triumph and reckoning. The series will be told in three languages – Korean, Japanese and English.
Hugh, an acclaimed writer, showrunner and producer, most recently signed a multi-year overall deal with UCP to develop, write and produce projects. As part of the deal, she launched an incubator program to help bring more API stories to cinematic life and jumpstart fruitful careers in the entertainment industry.
Up next, Hugh is set to adapt David Grann’s epic account of Henry Worsley’s solo trek across Antarctica, originally published in The New Yorker, for Apple TV+. Also on the horizon, she will produce an adaptation of the cult classic WISCONSIN DEATH TRIP for Media Res and an undisclosed film for Amazon to be written by two-time Pulitzer-winning playwright, Lynn Nottage, and documentary filmmaker, Tony Gerber. She is also writing the relaunch of FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATORS for Disney.
Soo was previously the co-showrunner for the critically-lauded first season of AMC’s THE TERROR, produced by Ridley Scott and starring Jared Harris, Ciaran Hinds, and Tobias Menzies. She also created THE WHISPERS for ABC, based on a Ray Bradbury short story and produced by Steven Spielberg, directed by Mark Romanek. The series was sold when Soo was a staff writer. Other television credits include writing on THE KILLING (AMC) and UNDER THE DOME (CBS).
Hugh earned her BA from Yale University and her MFA from University of Southern California’s film school. She lives in New York City.

Compelling stories and spellbinding visuals characterize the diverse commercial films of Director Marie Hyon, a co-founder of Psyop. Marie has recently released her short film Bottle Cap, which is making a splash at film festivals such as Clermont Ferrand, Stuttgart, Aspen, and at Annecy, among others. The film highlights our society’s toxic love affair with plastics and she hopes it will inspire change and action against single use plastics. Marie’s versatility and her unique vision allows her to flow from character driven heartfelt, emotional stories, to hard hitting action game trailers, to the mesmerizing visual language of music videos and museum installations, also to include immersive VR and AR experiences, and a variety of dramatic and whimsical commercial entertainment. Her work has won numerous accolades over the years including top awards at the Cannes Lions, the Clios, D&AD, AICP, and ADCs to name just a few.

Marie is a Korean American who moved from Seoul to Williamsburg, Brooklyn at the age of 9. Growing up as a female immigrant in the city, Marie was faced with many challenges, but the tactile, disruptive, inspirational atmosphere of New York City is where she has grown to love and call her home. She earned her BA at Parsons School of Design for illustration, had her work published in publications, such as the New York Times and the Village Voice, and had a long run as a designer/art director at Nickelodeon and MTV Networks. In 2000, Marie co-founded PSYOP with four other partners in a small storefront bar in New York’s East Village. Recently named a Standout in Ad Age’s 2022 Production Company A-list, PSYOP has been raising the bar for design-led visual storytelling for over two decades, and has now grown into a global creative collective of makers who inspire one another to keep evolving and doing the best work possible.

Marie views the World through empathetic eyes, sees beyond the surface of things, and her passion pushes her to create with meaning and depth, transporting audiences into the heart and soul of a scene. Marie continues to explore, feeding her curiosity, and discovering opportunities to grow and expand her horizon, both internally and externally, always seeking joy in the process.

Charles Kim has spent three decades moving forward the principles of authentic representation, equity, and narrative change in publishing. In 2023, he founded (with Stephanie Lim) Third State Books, the only general-interest publisher in America dedicated exclusively to Asian American writers and stories. In 2024, he founded the Asian American Book Club and the Asian American BookCon. Before launching Third State, he served as Senior Editorial Agent at Serendipity Literary, the largest agency in the United States specializing in writers of color. Charles previously served as Associate Publisher at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, where he oversaw the publication of forty titles per year and established an award-winning, bestselling line of children’s books, which have been translated into thirty different languages. He also served for nine years as Editor in Chief at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, where he launched the museum’s own publishing imprint as well as its Design Journal magazine, now in its twentieth year of publication.

Kane Lee is Chief Content Officer of Baobab Studios, the 10x Emmy Award winning and three-time Annie winning independent interactive animation studio with a track record of building franchisable family IP and interactive worlds. Multi-Emmy-winning producer, Kane has always led at the intersection of technology and media. He masterminded the first- ever adaptation of VR IP INVASION! into a traditional feature film. With new technology mediums, IP is usually adapted the opposite way, from Hollywood to new medium, but Roth Kirschenbaum Films signed on to partner with Baobab to bring INVASION! to the silver screen.

Kane helps to oversee Baobab universes, which are being turned into films (Disney), series on premium streamers (e.g, Disney+, HBO Max), books (Penguin Random House, MacMillan) and games (Roblox, web3, Oculus). This includes original series with Disney+ such as INTERCATS, an animated cat workplace comedy based on the fast-tracked Baobab graphic novel by the same name Macmillan and THE WITCHVERSE, an epic fantasy action-adventure animated event series, based on BABA YAGA, Baobab’s three-time Emmy®-winning short film and VR experience. Also, the MOMOGURO multiplatform franchise, which includes an Emmy®-nominated digital collectibles game, a hit Roblox game, and a TV series in development. Kane sits on Baobab’s creative brain trust which includes Eric Darnell and advisors and investors such as Ed Catmull (Pixar Co-Founder and former President of Disney Feature Animation) and Oscar®-winning filmmaker Glen Keane (Director, Over the Moon and Dear Basketball, legendary Disney animator of The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast), among others.

Kane is lead producer of 20th Century Fox’s feature film based on the Academy Award - nominated short, THE DAM KEEPER and is on producing teams for projects ranging fromTHE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL at Universal Pictures to FROZEN writer/director Jennifer Kane’s THE WAY BETWEEN to the international award-winning children’s series SPOOKSVILLE.

Previously, Kane was Vice President of Development and Production for Jane Startz Productions and worked on HORTON HEARS A WHO!, ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN, and ROBOTS for Blue Sky Studios. He is an advisor in interactive media for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Shinho Lee received his BFA in Film and Television and MFA in Dramatic Writing from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. He is also an alumnus in American Film Institute’s Screenwriting Program.

Lee co-wrote “The Chaser” directed by Hong-Jin Na. It was one of the highest grossing films in Korea in 2008 and invited to The 2008 Cannes Film Festival for the Official Selection Midnight Screening.

Lee adapted “While The Women Are Sleeping” (the critically acclaimed short story by Javier Marias) into the screenplay with Michael Ray and Mami Sunada. It was directed by Wayne Wang (“Joy Luck Club”, “Smoke”, “Maid in Manhattan”) and invited to The 2016 Berlin Film Festival for the Panorama Special Screening.

Lee wrote screenplay “Sayonara Itsuka (Saying Goodbye, One day)” based on the bestselling novel by Hitonari Tsuji. It stars Miho Nakayama from Shunji Iwai’s “Love Letter” and was successfully released in Japan and Korea in 2010.

Lee also wrote screenplays “Last September” for Terence Chang (the producer of “Face/Off”, “Red Cliff” and “Mission Impossible 2”), and “Tokyo Year Zero” based on the critically acclaimed novel by David Peace (“The Damned Utd”) and a Korean-French psychological thriller inspired by the Courjault murder case “Zero-Sum” that was a participant of The 2016 Atelier de Coproduction Franco-Coréen sponsored by KOFIC and CNC.

Lee’s screenplay “The Red Snow” was the Grand Prize Winner of The 2003 Harley-Merrill International Screenwriting Award sponsored by MPA and RKO Pictures and The 2002 CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacific in Entertainment) Foundation’s New Writers Award sponsored by The 20th Century FOX.

His play “Dream of No Words” was introduced at Hartford Stage’s 2003 Brand New Reading Series, and summer of 2001, his other plays “The Water Mirrors” (American Living Room with Lincoln Center) and “Butterfly” (Director’s Company’s Don’t Blink) were produced in New York City.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in upstate New York, Stephen began his pioneering career as a stand-up comedian in New York City. He then began performing in plays with Pan Asian Repertory Theatre before making his feature film debut in Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, which was quickly followed by a role opposite Bill Murray in Quick Change. Shortly thereafter, he became a groundbreaker as the first Asian American comedian cast as a series regular on a sketch comedy series, the Emmy-winning TV show In Living Color, where he played alongside the hilarious Kelly Coffield, who would later became his wife and mother of their two children.

Stephen has worked with world-renowned film directors including Joel and Ethan Coen in their Academy Award winning movie Fargo (where his role as Mike Yanagita garnered him a “Two Minute Oscar” from Interview Magazine), and A Serious Man; Bong Joon- ho in Snowpiercer and Mickey 17; and Wes Anderson in The French Dispatch, Asteroid City, and The Phoenician Scheme. Other film roles include Death of a Unicorn, Ghosted, The Brass Teapot, State of Play, Desperate Measures, Falling Down, and Kindergarten Cop.

On television, Stephen has appeared on many shows including Murder, She Wrote, Martin, Boy Meets World, Mad About You, Law & Order (including Criminal Intent & SVU), White Collar, Elementary, The Mindy Project, and a couple of episodes on Friends.

It was on the show Friends, where Stephen was witness to a racial incident which spurred him to write a “Mission Statement”, inspired by the movie Jerry Maguire, where he called out the racism not only on the Friends set, but in Hollywood in general.

Taylor Shung is a producer born and raised in New York City. An eternal student of the artistic process, she began her career in production working with filmmakers and artists interested in unconventional ways of making. Since then, she continues to support filmmakers with a distinct voice and perspective, bringing to life a range of genres and styles. Recent credits include Celine Song’s MATERIALISTS and Oscar Nominated PAST LIVES, Jane Schoenbrun’s I SAW THE TV GLOW, Zia Anger’s MY FIRST FILM and Chloe Zhao’s Oscar Winner NOMADLAND. In 2019, Taylor had her Broadway debut as a Video Producer for Ivo Van Hove's revival of WEST SIDE STORY. When she’s not making movies, she enjoys cooking and finding the next best restaurant.

Diana is an Emmy-nominated showrunner and writer/producer for television and award-winning playwright. She is currently developing TV projects for Netflix and ABC TV. Diana was Executive Producer of the NatGeo series Genius: Aretha, co-showrunner of season 1 of “Thirteen Reasons Why,” and was Emmy-nominated twice as Co-Executive Producer of ABC’s “American Crime.” Diana created and was showrunner of the pilot “Love is a Four-Letter Word” for NBC directed by George Tillman. She has also been a writer/producer for a number of series including “Dirty John,” “Southland,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Do No Harm” and started her t.v. career as a staff writer for “The West Wing.” Diana has also written a number of pilots for HBO, Max, Apple, Amazon, ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Diana is also the author of the plays Stop Kiss, Satellites, BOY, R.A.W. (‘Cause I’m a Woman) and others. Stop Kiss and Satellites premiered at the Public Theater in NYC. Stop Kiss was extended at the Public Theater three times and won the GLAAD Media Award for Best New York Production and Diana won the John Gassner Playwriting Prize and the Berilla Kerr Award for playwriting. Stop Kiss has been produced at hundreds of theatres nationally and abroad and been translated into a number of different languages including Hungarian, Japanese, and Korean. Her previous plays include BOY, Fishes, and R.A.W. (‘Cause I’m a Woman). Amongst the theatres Diana’s plays have been produced at are: La Jolla Playhouse, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Rep, Woolly Mammoth, Delaware Theatre Company, BRAVA, New Georges, and many others.

Diana has been the co-emcee of the Writer’s Guild of America East’s Showrunner Training Academy since its inception, recipient of an NEA/TCG residency grant at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and a Brooks Atkinson Fellowship at the National Theatre in London. She has taught playwriting at NYU’s Department of Dramatic Writing and the Yale School of Drama. She was Program Chair of the Dramatists Guild Foundation’s Playwriting Fellowship program from 2013 – 2019 and is proud to have nurtured the voices of 35 gifted playwrights during that time who have gone on to be produced in theatres across the country and Pulitzer-nominated amongst many other recognitions.

Diana is on the board of the non-profit KoreanAmericanStory, dedicated to sharing and uplifting the diversity of stories within the Korean American experience. She’s the mother of 3 sons and lives in Brooklyn.
